Professional Services Implementation Engineer

About the role

The Professional Services Implementation Engineer is a senior technical resource responsible for delivering a broad range of client‑facing implementation projects, including Microsoft 365 migrations, network infrastructure deployments, and office relocations. The position works in a hybrid model, primarily on Long Island with occasional on‑site work in New York City, and collaborates closely with project managers, technical account managers, and client stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute implementation projects such as Microsoft 365 migrations, tenant consolidations, infrastructure upgrades, network deployments, office relocations, and new client onboarding.
• Configure, deploy, and support Microsoft 365 technologies including Entra ID, Intune, Autopilot, Conditional Access, device compliance policies, endpoint management, and identity solutions.
• Install, configure, test, and validate network infrastructure components such as switches, wireless access points, firewalls, and VPN connectivity.
• Coordinate technical aspects of office moves to ensure network connectivity, workstation readiness, and business continuity.
• Perform on‑site work at client locations throughout Long Island and occasionally in New York City.
• Participate in project discovery, planning, technical reviews, implementation, cutovers, and post‑deployment validation.
• Provide clear status updates, technical guidance, and communication to clients throughout engagements.
• Document configurations, procedures, network diagrams, and deployment outcomes in IT Glue and maintain project notes and time entries in HaloPSA.
• Follow established implementation methodologies, SOPs, and Professional Services best practices.

Required profile

• Senior‑level technical professional with the ability to work independently and take ownership of complex projects.
• Strong communication and documentation skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Proven experience delivering Microsoft 365 and network infrastructure implementations.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on adhering to scope, timelines, and best practices.
