About the role

Marshall Dennehey is seeking a Professional Liability Attorney to join its Philadelphia litigation team. The role focuses on defending professionals such as insurance agents, real‑estate agents, directors and officers, and other licensed individuals accused of professional negligence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior shareholders and associates in defending professional liability claims.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Participate in client meetings and provide updates on case progress.
• Collaborate with a team of trial lawyers to develop defense strategies.
• Gradually assume full case management responsibilities as experience grows.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of post‑law school experience, preferably in civil litigation.
• Strong analytical, legal writing, and research abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
