About the role

The Professional Education Worker will join Georgia Piedmont Technical College to deliver high‑quality instruction and support for adult learners. This position plays a key part in creating an engaging, inclusive learning environment and helping students achieve their career goals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instruction in assigned subject areas using diverse teaching methods.
• Develop and update curriculum materials, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with industry standards.
• Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate attendance and grading records.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance program offerings and address student needs.
• Participate in professional development and stay current with adult‑education best practices.
• Mentor students on academic and career planning.
• Support outreach and recruitment for professional education programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum three years of teaching, training, or professional‑development experience, preferably with adult learners.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to continuous learning and teamwork.
