Production Technician – Rotating Shifts

About the role

We are seeking a Production Technician to join BASF’s Performance Materials team in Clemson, SC. The role operates on a rotating three‑shift schedule, producing blended resin systems for foam applications that support sustainable plastics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Follow product recipes to manufacture blended resin systems in multiple blend vessels, including the PSM process.
• Operate the process control interface to add precise chemical quantities, follow batch instructions, and collect samples.
• Load and unload drums, totes, cylinders, and tank trucks; manage raw material deliveries via rail car, bulk storage, and box vans.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards for assigned plant areas.
• Complete standard operating procedures and DOT hazardous material training.

Required profile

• High school diploma (technical degree preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lb.
• Willingness to become a certified forklift driver and complete HAZMAT training.
