Production Team Member – Auto Parts Yard

About the role

The Production Team Member works on the yard floor to prepare vehicles for customer access. You will safely remove fluids, batteries, tires and other components, ensuring the yard remains clean, organized and environmentally compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies, wear appropriate PPE, and operate forklifts to position vehicles.
• Drain and capture top and bottom fluids, storing them in designated containers.
• Remove batteries, mercury switches, Freon and other hazardous items according to environmental procedures.
• Loosen tire lug nuts, identify sellable tires and wheel sets, and prepare them for retail.
• Separate recyclable material from landfill waste and mark vehicles after processing.
• Maintain a tidy yard, set vehicles safely for customer access, and report damaged tools.
• Collaborate with the team to meet production goals while upholding integrity.

Required profile

• Prior production or automotive experience preferred; equivalent education and experience considered.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and handle job‑related stress.
