About the role
The Molding Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. You will lead union production personnel, focus on safety, and drive operational excellence using continuous‑improvement methodologies such as Kaizen.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee safety, production, quality and schedule performance of the Foundry Molding area during each shift.
- Prepare and monitor daily and weekly shift work plans, including staffing, in coordination with production planning.
- Achieve production targets and maximize equipment uptime while addressing quality or productivity issues promptly.
- Maintain ISO‑9001:2015 compliance through participation in quality and safety audits.
- Collaborate with HR and the Foundry Manager to interpret the Union contract and minimize production disruptions.
Required profile
- High School Diploma required; BS in a technical discipline preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years of heavy‑industrial production experience in a high‑volume, union environment.
- Strong work ethic with excellent team‑building abilities.
- Professional PC literacy in MS Word and Excel.
