About the role
The 1st Shift Production Supervisor leads the manufacturing operation at 1440 Foods, ensuring production schedules are met, product quality is maintained, and a safe work environment is upheld.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise all production activities, adhering to schedules and quality standards.
- Monitor processes to optimize productivity, minimize downtime, and manage staffing resources.
- Implement quality control and sanitation measures, addressing issues promptly.
- Lead hiring, training, performance management, and create weekly labor schedules.
- Ensure health, safety, and regulatory compliance across the plant.
- Oversee inventory levels, raw material usage, and maintain accurate production records.
- Drive continuous improvement through daily management systems and project leadership.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
- 3+ years of leadership experience in food production or manufacturing.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using ERP systems.
