Production Operator – Starting Pay $25.78/hr

About the role

Located in Davenport, the largest pet‑food manufacturing facility in the United States, this position offers hands‑on experience across multiple production lines. As a Production Operator you will support the safe and efficient manufacturing of well‑known pet‑food brands while developing a broad skill set in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Train on various production roles (Operator Process, Operator Relief, Operator Line) and be assigned to different areas as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment, process, or product issues to maintain continuous flow.
• Apply lean manufacturing concepts, 5S practices, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Perform sanitation tasks such as emptying hoppers and operating the baler.
• Run reports and manage production data using computer‑based systems.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a production or machine operator in a manufacturing setting.
• Willingness to work 2nd, 3rd, and weekend shifts with extensive overtime.

Required skills
