Production Operator

About the role

Moog is seeking a Production Operator to join its performance‑driven culture in Blacksburg, VA. The role involves hands‑on assembly, testing, and minor rework of components while adhering to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Complete basic assembly operations using manufacturing documentation.
• Store, clean and maintain tools, equipment and chemicals, verifying calibration dates and seals.
• Perform electrical testing with automated test equipment.
• Solder components, read blueprints, and operate microscopes.
• Accurately complete paperwork for each part and execute minor rework per standard procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred; ability to follow verbal, written and computer instructions in English.
• Demonstrated basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Quality‑conscious with mechanical aptitude and good dexterity.
