Production Operator

About the role

Moog is seeking a Production Operator to join its manufacturing team in Blacksburg, VA. The role is onsite and involves performing assembly, testing, and minor rework tasks while adhering to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Complete basic assembly operations using required manufacturing documentation.
• Store, clean, and maintain tools, equipment, and chemicals; verify calibration dates and seals.
• Perform electrical testing with automated test equipment.
• Solder components, read blueprints, and operate microscopes.
• Complete accurate, legible paperwork for each part.
• Execute minor rework following Standard Rework Procedures, Quality History Tag Instructions, or rework router.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED preferred, or demonstrated ability to follow verbal, written, and computer instructions in English.
• Ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Quality‑conscious with mechanical aptitude and good dexterity.
