Production Operator II

About the role

Niagara is seeking a Production Operator II to join its bottled‑water manufacturing team. The role involves operating and maintaining production line equipment, ensuring smooth, safe, and high‑quality output on a rotating 12‑hour shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Start, stop, and monitor production equipment such as palletizers, carton makers, sealers, drop packers, and injection machines.
• Perform minor equipment adjustments and troubleshoot simple issues, coordinating with maintenance as needed.
• Maintain accurate production logs (Machine Report, Quality Report, Downtime Report, etc.).
• Ensure safety compliance, proper use of personal protective equipment, and housekeeping standards.
• Manage raw‑material supplies (caps, labels, cartons, wraps) to keep the line running continuously.
• Conduct hourly quality inspections and report defects immediately.
• Support multiple production areas and perform relief duties when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing or similar production environment.
• Ability to work 12‑hour rotating shifts (2‑2‑3 schedule) with reliable attendance.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.

Required skills

• Operation of production equipment (palletizers, carton makers, sealers, drop packers, injection machines).
• Basic troubleshooting of equipment issues.
• Use of computer systems such as Oracle/MES for order and production tracking.
