Production Operator II

About the role

Niagara is seeking a Production Operator II to join its manufacturing team. The role involves operating and maintaining production lines that package bottled water, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient operations across multiple shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Start, stop, and monitor equipment such as palletizers, carton makers, sealers, drop packers, and injection machines.
• Perform minor equipment adjustments and report any issues to maintenance.
• Complete and update production logs, including Machine, Quality, Downtime, and Carton Top Load reports.
• Maintain housekeeping standards, manage waste streams, and ensure adequate raw‑material supplies.
• Conduct hourly quality inspections and promptly report defects.
• Assist in multiple production areas, provide relief duties, and troubleshoot minor equipment problems.
• Use computer systems like Oracle/MES for order and production tracking.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in a manufacturing or similar production environment.
• Ability to work 12‑hour rotating shifts (2‑2‑3 schedule) with reliable attendance.
• Understanding of safety protocols, proper lifting techniques, and personal protective equipment usage.
• Strong communication skills for clear issue reporting.
