Production Operator – Entry Level

About the role

Evonik is looking for an entry‑level Production Operator to join its manufacturing team in Lafayette, LA. You will operate and support equipment on the production line, helping to ensure smooth, safe, and high‑quality output.

Key responsibilities

• Operate machinery and perform routine production tasks following detailed work instructions.
• Assist with equipment setup, installation, and preventive maintenance under supervision.
• Support quality control by adhering to strict standards and procedures.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following mandatory safety practices and using required personal protective equipment.
• Provide operational support across the production line to maximize efficiency.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow strict instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and safe handling of equipment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
