About the role

James Hardie is seeking motivated individuals to join its manufacturing team as Production Operators. This position offers a $5,000 sign‑on bonus and the chance to work with industry‑leading fiber cement products in a fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain industrial equipment and machinery on a 4‑x‑4 shift rotation.
• Assist with equipment cleaning, wash‑downs, housekeeping, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Perform product quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Communicate safety, quality, and mechanical concerns to team leads.
• Support the manufacturing of a variety of innovative fiber cement products.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing or operating industrial equipment.
• Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and commitment to a Zero Harm safety culture.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift up to 10 lb frequently (up to 50 lb occasionally).
• Willingness to learn, grow, and work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
