Production Management Development Associate

About the role

The Management Development Associate program develops future leaders at Nestlé Purina. As a Production Management Development Associate you will be coached from day one and rotate through quality assurance, safety, supply chain, engineering, human resources, R&D, information systems and operations performance to see how each area collaborates with production.

Key responsibilities

• Discover a variety of field concepts, practices and procedures to plan and accomplish goals.
• Practice personal safety and act as a role model for employee safety and protection of company assets.
• Lead and oversee the execution of production schedules.
• Ensure the flow of materials, parts and resources necessary for plant‑wide production.
• Plan methods to improve efficiency in production and execute improvement tasks.
• Maintain compliance with approved methods and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business Management or a related discipline, attained or expected by June 2027.
• Willingness to relocate to any of Nestlé Purina’s 24 U.S. manufacturing sites during the program.
• Initial rotation will be at one of the following factories: Bloomfield, Missouri; Crete, Nebraska; or Clinton, Iowa.

Required skills

• Prior internship, co‑op, practicum or manufacturing experience (preferred).
• Involvement in student organizations or other leadership experience (preferred).
