Production Machine Operator on First Shift

About the role

As a Production Machine Operator on the first shift, you will work on a fast‑paced line to produce, label, pack and stack products for shipment. The position is hourly, full‑time and runs Monday‑Friday from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm in a clean, safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate bottle‑filling and sub‑assembly machines according to Production Work Tickets.
• Gather raw materials, set up the line, and produce sample units for quality inspection.
• After approval, produce, label, pack and load orders onto pallets.
• Use a computerized warehouse management system to receive materials, verify inventory and track deliveries.
• Report defective materials, maintain a tidy work area, and follow safety regulations.
• Document production performance using SFC and QC worksheets.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines and conduct safety checks on material‑handling equipment.
• Participate in training, safety, compliance and departmental meetings.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of production line experience.
• Forklift operator experience.
• Ability to follow written instructions and work with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.

• Machine operation and basic preventative maintenance.
• Material handling equipment operation.
