Production Lab Administrator

About the role

Parsons is seeking an exceptionally talented Production Lab Administrator to join our prototyping lab team. The role is ideal for organized, proactive individuals who want to support hands‑on technical work in a dynamic environment. It starts as part‑time with the possibility to become full‑time based on performance and business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Procure supplies, materials, and equipment needed for prototyping lab operations.
• Maintain accurate records for monthly purchase reconciliations and up‑to‑date inventory of lab supplies and equipment.
• Create and process shipping labels, coordinate with vendors, and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Organize and keep the lab workspace and storage areas clean and efficient.
• Assist with receiving, inspecting, and logging incoming shipments while following all lab safety protocols.
• Potential expanded duties include assembling electronic components, such as wire harnesses, and supporting additional lab production tasks.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in an administrative, inventory, or lab support role.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Basic computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, web‑based ordering systems).
• Reliable, punctual, self‑motivated and able to lift up to 25 lb and stand for extended periods.
