Production Design Assistant – Development & Production

About the role

The Production Design Assistant – Development & Production supports the Global Lifestyle Merchandise team by coordinating product creation from concept through delivery. Working closely with the Development and Production Lead, this role ensures timelines, samples, vendor communications, and production workflows run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update Time & Action calendars to track development and production milestones.
• Coordinate cross‑functional approvals across Design, Brand, Legal and Procurement teams.
• Track project status, flag risks, and prepare status reports for stakeholders.
• Assist in end‑to‑end prototyping, sample tracking, and revisions.
• Support budgeting, invoice processing, and financial reconciliation.
• Manage order files, PO creation, and production timelines to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Coordinate logistics, shipping documentation, and freight partners.
• Maintain vendor database, factory profiles, and track performance metrics.

Required profile

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional and vendor interaction.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Ability to proactively identify and resolve production issues.

• Competitive salary range of $80,700 – $135,100 per year.
