Production Coordinator

About the role

The Production Coordinator will support the Soft Home team in bringing bedding, sheets, bath and other home textile products from concept to customer. Working on‑site five days a week, you will act as the central link between overseas factories, internal departments, warehouses and customers to keep orders on track.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with order processing, tracking, and follow‑up.
• Communicate daily with internal and external partners regarding production status and delivery information.
• Enter and maintain accurate product, purchase order, and shipment data in internal systems.
• Support the production team from sourcing and manufacturing through to final product delivery.
• Coordinate cross‑functional communication with design, sales and product development teams.
• Liaise with overseas factories, freight forwarders, warehouses and internal teams on shipment schedules and updates.
• Maintain and organize the sample room and related records; submit samples for customer approval on time.
• Work with EDI requirements and assist accounting with invoice and packing‑list verification.
• Submit supplier invoices to accounting for timely payment.
• Maintain and update forecast charts and report on project status.
• Troubleshoot challenges and implement efficient tracking strategies.
• Perform data entry and other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field, or an Associate’s degree with at least one year of wholesale imports experience.
• Alternatively, two or more years of experience in wholesale imports or a related role.

Required skills

• Experience using AIMS (preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of EDI requirements.
• Familiarity with content, product and inventory management.
• Understanding of U.S. Customs laws and procedures (preferred).
