Production Coordinator – Ground Support Equipment

About the role

The Production Coordinator will ensure peak efficiency of the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) team by managing material readiness, kitting, and production workflows. This role combines hands‑on assembly tasks with process improvement to support BETA Technologies' mission of electric aviation.

Key responsibilities

• Own material‑readiness and kitting activities for scheduled GSE assembly work, including reviewing work orders, building kits, and delivering them to the assembly area.
• Verify kit completeness against bills of materials, track shortages, and coordinate resolutions with Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Maintain point‑of‑use organization, prevent FOD, and support safe, orderly production areas.
• Communicate daily readiness status, constraints, and recovery plans to technicians.
• Improve kitting and staging processes to reduce missing‑part events and technician search time.

Required profile

• Strong multi‑tasking and organizational abilities.
• Ability to analyze problems and make independent decisions.
• Effective team communication skills.
• Experience safely operating hand and power tools.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Loop, OneNote.
• Familiarity with Slack.
• Knowledge of PLEX ERP systems (preferred).
• High‑voltage assembly experience related to DC energy storage systems (preferred).
