Production Control / Material Handler II

About the role

The Production Control/Material Handler II supports manufacturing operations by managing inventory, coordinating material flow, and ensuring accurate record‑keeping. This position works closely with vendors, production teams, and cleanroom environments to keep the supply chain running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritize daily store activities, receive parts, verify vendor deliveries and update inventory records in Oracle, SAP or other ERP systems.
• Perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and manage non‑conformances.
• Locate, audit, and transfer kits or materials for shipment and cleanroom delivery.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles such as pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, forklifts and overhead cranes; drive a van or truck when required.
• Replenish line‑side bins, regulate material movement to the manufacturing floor, and purge excess or obsolete stock.
• Review MRP schedules, expedite receipt of materials, and coordinate with stakeholders for inventory transfers.
• Train and certify other material coordinators and follow documented business processes.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of how the material control team integrates with production and other functions.
• Ability to provide informal guidance to junior team members and solve atypical problems using established procedures.
• Strong impact awareness on work quality and effective communication skills for regular information exchange.
