Production Associate – Manufacturing

About the role

Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable Production Associates for a local manufacturing client that produces bear spray and pepper spray. The position involves working on a fast‑paced production line, handling packaging, assembly, and inspection of finished goods.

Key responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and assist in production processes.
• Label products and attach actuators to spray containers.
• Inspect items to ensure quality standards are met.
• Package finished products into retail packaging.
• Load tubs (up to 40 cans) into equipment used for pressing toppers onto spray cans.
• Support team members along the production line as needed.

Required profile

• Previous production or assembly experience preferred; training provided for motivated candidates.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting, bending, twisting, and stooping.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• High school diploma or GED not required.

What we offer

• Hourly pay $17.00‑$20.00
• Full‑time permanent position with 1st shift (7:30 AM‑4:00 PM) or 2nd shift (2:30 PM‑11:00 PM) options.
