Production Associate

About the role

We are seeking motivated Production Associates to join our lumber mill in Bogalusa, LA. This entry‑level position offers a clear path for advancement in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment where safety and efficiency are top priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Clean designated production areas (lumber, bark, sawdust) using hand and mechanical tools.
• Load and unload materials and products from machines.
• Monitor machinery to ensure continuous movement of lumber and materials.
• Perform routine cleanup activities throughout the mill.
• Use hand tools such as air hoses, shovels, brooms, blowers, and wheel barrels for daily tasks.
• Cross‑train on production equipment and assist with other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred; manufacturing experience a plus.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and follow all safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, push, pull, bend, stoop, twist, and lift up to 50 lb for up to 12 hours per shift.
• Capability to work in extreme temperatures, dusty and noisy conditions.
