Production Associate – Bakery Manufacturing

About the role

Join Bimbo Bakeries USA as a Production Associate and help deliver fresh baked goods to millions of consumers each day. This entry‑level position works on the bakery floor, ensuring that products are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate high‑powered bakery machinery safely and efficiently.
• Package finished products and mix ingredients according to recipes.
• Move, stack, and transport pans, ingredient containers, and other production materials.
• Inspect products for quality, reject out‑of‑spec items, and help reduce waste.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety protocols, and company training requirements.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age.
• 1‑3 years of manufacturing experience; food manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand for long periods, and work in a warm environment.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Effective communication in English.

Required skills

• Operation of high‑powered bakery machinery.
• Food safety and quality inspection practices.
