Production Assistant – Sports Media

About the role

Join ESPN NEXT as a Production Assistant and help bring sports storytelling to life across ESPN’s shows, live events, digital, social, and audio platforms. This full‑time, entry‑level position offers structured training, mentorship, and a clear path to promotion.

Key responsibilities

• Support production and content creation for domestic and global sports properties.
• Edit video and audio elements, research content, and produce highlights, teases, opens, and montages.
• Run audio board playlists, log commercials, sales, and promos for multi‑platform broadcasts.
• Coordinate graphics for studio telecasts and remote live events.
• Assist with live events by gathering video and sponsorship assets.
• Contribute creative ideas to ESPN’s multi‑platform storytelling.

Required profile

• Willingness to work nights, mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Conversational knowledge of multiple sports, especially SEC Network college sports.
• Enthusiasm and passion for sports.
• Professional communication and organization skills.
• Ability to stay composed under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑starting attitude and team‑oriented work ethic.
