Production Assistant

About the role
Acast is seeking a proactive Production Assistant to keep its podcast production pipeline running smoothly. This junior‑level position offers exposure to every stage of audio, video, and digital media creation, from research and scripting to final editing and distribution.
Key responsibilities
- Pitch and develop story ideas, write and edit scripts, and conduct interviews as needed.
- Manage audio and video assets, cut social‑media clips, and assist producers with editing using Adobe Audition or Pro Tools.
- Research guests, create detailed interview prep documents, and coordinate interview bookings and tape syncs.
- Maintain communication with hosts, guests, freelancers, and vendors, and respond to listener inquiries.
- Monitor production schedules, keep internal databases up to date, and support social‑media campaign creation.
- Compile bi‑weekly marketing and metrics reports.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of professional experience in media or production.
- Passion for digital storytelling and podcasts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
