Product Support Engineer

About the role

Veeva Systems is a fast‑growing SaaS company dedicated to accelerating life‑sciences therapies. As a Product Support Engineer you will join a global support team, helping customers use Veeva Vault and its integrations with Veeva CRM and Salesforce.com.

Key responsibilities

• Provide worldwide support for Veeva Vault, Veeva CRM, and Salesforce.com integrations.
• Troubleshoot critical production issues, including system outages and data integrity problems.
• Assist client administrators across multiple organizations and guide them through configuration changes.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Engineering, Product Management, and Professional Services to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
• Document processes, maintain up‑to‑date knowledge bases, and support new releases into production.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, eager to learn new software, with hands‑on experience building personal or small‑scale applications.
• Strong communication skills to interact with technical staff and C‑level executives in urgent situations.
• Experience working in a small‑team or start‑up environment and a willingness to mentor peers.

Required skills

• SQL database knowledge and ability to write queries.
• Understanding of HTML, XML, and JSON.
• Experience developing or supporting mobile apps on iOS or Windows.
• Familiarity with CRM software, especially Veeva CRM and Salesforce.com.
• Experience in cloud‑hosted software environments and software support roles.
• Exposure to object‑oriented programming concepts and Java.
