Product Owner – Matchmaking & Relationship

About the role

Social Discovery Group is seeking a Product Owner to own the post‑purchase experience for paying customers. You will be responsible for driving activation, matching, relevance and overall experience to help users reach their value moment quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure paying customers see the right volume of offers and improve recommendation relevance.
• Increase the share of customers who achieve a quality match within the first week.
• Design engagement mechanics such as gamification, nudges and reminders to bring users back into conversations.
• Identify and act on bottlenecks in the post‑purchase journey using data, research and common sense.
• Formulate testable hypotheses, define success metrics and run experiments.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, analysts and data/ML specialists to ship features quickly.
• Manage requirements, priorities and timelines for predictable delivery.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in B2C customer experience, activation or first‑session design.
• Background with discovery‑driven products that have large volumes of offers or listings.
• Experience with search, feed relevance, matching or recommendation systems.
• Familiarity with segmentation, personalization and data enrichment of offers.

Required skills

• Ability to formulate hypotheses and define product requirements.
• Proficiency in running A/B tests and other experiments.
• Comfort with both qualitative and quantitative product research.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration with designers, analysts and engineers.
