Product Manager – Telematics (UBI) – Hybrid – Webster/Boston

About the role

Mapfre is seeking a Product Manager to lead its telematics (UBI) strategy across the Personal Lines portfolio. The role will be based in Webster, MA and operates in a hybrid work model, partnering with product, actuarial, data, IT and external technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a multi‑year telematics strategy and roadmap.
• Lead rollout and expansion of telematics programs across states and product lines.
• Drive innovation to improve underwriting precision, pricing sophistication and risk segmentation.
• Manage strategic vendor relationships, including selection, performance monitoring and RFP processes.
• Oversee integration of telematics data into core systems, ensuring data quality, scalability and security.
• Collaborate with actuarial, data science and analytics teams to develop predictive models and enhance rating algorithms.
• Support state‑by‑state expansion while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide data‑driven insights to senior leadership and foster cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in telematics, product management, data analytics or insurance.
• Proven track record of leading telematics or usage‑based insurance initiatives.
• Experience managing vendor partnerships and complex integration projects.
• Strong ability to work with actuarial, data science, IT and commercial teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
