Product Line Manager IV

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Product Line Manager IV to lead product change management and drive roadmap implementation for semiconductor and display equipment. The role combines technical oversight, vendor coordination, and strategic planning to ensure product reliability and cost‑effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Own product change management (PCM), unreleased product approval, and Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes.
• Implement Part Change Notifications (PCN) and manage field‑service feedback impacting customers.
• Ensure accuracy of shipped configurations and Bill of Materials (BOM) through CaRM reviews.
• Develop and execute component roadmaps, addressing obsolescence, replacements, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Facilitate inter‑company communication on product strategy, pricing, spare levels, and restricted parts.
• Manage strategic vendor issues and post‑Phase 5 ePLC module implementation.

Required profile

• Demonstrates depth of expertise in a specialized discipline and interprets business challenges to improve products and processes.
• Leads functional teams or projects with moderate complexity, guiding problem‑solving and innovative solutions.
• Communicates complex concepts and negotiates with stakeholders to adopt new viewpoints.
• Impacts customer and operational objectives through adherence to functional policies.

What we offer

• Salary range: $147,000 – $202,500 per year (target total cash).
