Product Line Management IV – Technical Program Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a senior technical program manager to lead service product development for its Dielectric Deposition (DDP) business unit. The role will guide products from concept through release, ensuring after‑sale support, spare‑part strategies, and maintenance capabilities for semiconductor equipment installed worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical program management of service product development across initiation, validation, and release phases.
• Chair core team meetings, drive design and development, and oversee beta demonstrations at selected sites.
• Create marketing collateral, field training, and procedures for service contracts.
• Collaborate with equipment BU NPI teams, field service, and customers to embed service offerings into new product introductions.
• Define and approve product application support plans, ensuring compliance with CoO, MTTR, MTBC, and other performance metrics.

Required profile

• 5+ years of process and hardware experience on DCVD semiconductor equipment, preferably with dielectric or atomic layer deposition.
• Proven program management proficiency and ability to lead cross‑functional teams on complex, high‑risk projects.
• Strong business acumen, including market opportunity assessment and ROI analysis.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting to executives and leading customer technical reviews.
