Product Experience Builder

About the role

Canvas Medical is looking for a Product Experience Builder who blends product management with hands‑on development. You will create plugins and capabilities that extend Canvas’s platform, delivering fast, production‑ready solutions directly to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Build, ship, and iterate plugins using Canvas’s SDK and AI‑assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Replit, or Cursor.
• Drive rapid iteration cycles, getting functional features in front of customers quickly and continuously improving them.
• Own the full lifecycle from discovery to deployment, ensuring high‑throughput delivery of impactful solutions.
• Design reusable, system‑wide plugins that solve problems for many customers while maintaining a coherent user experience.
• Enforce governance standards for plugin versioning, deployment, and coordination as the ecosystem grows.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering to identify platform gaps, translate field observations into concrete requirements, and evolve Canvas’s extensibility layer.
• Partner with Support, Implementation, Sales, and Customer Experience teams to surface customer pain points and prioritize ecosystem enhancements.
• Shape the product vision for the plugin ecosystem and contribute to public‑facing developer documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product management, solutions engineering, or a hybrid technical role with a track record of shipping functional software.
• Demonstrated ability to use modern AI‑assisted development tools (Claude Code, Replit, Cursor, etc.) independently.
• Strong systems thinking—understanding both technical composability and experiential consistency.
• Excellent product and design sense, with the ability to balance rapid iteration and cohesive user experience.
• Comfortable communicating with both technical and non‑technical audiences, from engineers to clinicians.
• Collaborative mindset, actively listening to cross‑functional teams to build the right solutions.
