Product Engineer

About the role

Moog is seeking a Product Engineer to drive the delivery of turreted weapons systems hardware from concept through production. You will work onsite in Goleta, CA, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑integrity, space‑rated products meet customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with Program Management, Quality, Project Engineering, and Design Engineering to execute programs and deliver hardware.
• Generate technical data, reports, and procedures that satisfy customer requirements.
• Maintain production hardware performance, resolve engineering issues, and support cost‑reduction and lead‑time improvement initiatives.
• Lead failure investigations, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate, sustain, and improve assembly and test methods, fixtures, and test equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant technical experience.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• Willingness to work onsite in Goleta, CA.

Required skills

• Experience with closed‑loop control systems.
• Mechanical hardware design expertise.
• Electrical hardware design expertise.
