Product Engineer

About the role

Goblins is building an AI‑powered math tutoring platform that scales one‑to‑one teacher support to every classroom. As a Product Engineer you will help ensure the system can serve 300,000 concurrent students while keeping latency low, costs down, and reliability high.

Key responsibilities

• Scale real‑time teacher avatars and the underlying streaming infrastructure to handle peak district‑wide logins.
• Design and implement end‑to‑end model experimentation pipelines that can be automated and rolled back safely.
• Maintain the real‑time synchronization engine that keeps whiteboards and dashboards instantly in sync across thousands of classrooms.
• Build fast, reliable data‑feeds for teachers to view student progress and assignment recommendations in real time.
• Create automated pipelines that extract, sanitize, and package “aha moment” video artifacts for sharing.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on performance, latency, and reliability at scale.
• Experience building distributed, real‑time systems that serve large numbers of concurrent users.
• Comfort working in a fast‑moving, agent‑centric development environment.

Required skills

• TypeScript
