Product Engineer III – Semiconductor Manufacturing

About the role

As a Product Engineer III (Process Engineer) at Applied Materials, you will design and optimize manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor technologies. You will collect and analyze data, perform hardware characterization, and troubleshoot complex engineering issues while collaborating with customers and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Design experiments, collect data, analyze results, and compile reports on complex process engineering tasks.
• Perform hardware characterization on a variety of advanced systems.
• Troubleshoot complex problems, conduct root‑cause analysis, and resolve process engineering issues.
• Measure film properties, interpret data, and generate technical documentation.
• Engage with customers to resolve process concerns and partner with vendors to implement new technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience in process engineering.
• Demonstrated expertise in complex problem solving.
