Product Developer

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking a Product Developer to bring clarity, management and organization to its apparel development team. You will drive product development, costing and sourcing from prototype through manufacturing‑ready packages while supporting innovation and supply‑chain goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all product development, costing, and sourcing activities from prototype to manufacturing‑ready package.
• Build and maintain the go‑to‑market calendar, ensuring milestones are met across development phases.
• Lead seasonal costing, negotiate prices, and align with FOB targets.
• Oversee finish approvals from development through pre‑production to bulk production.
• Support execution of sourcing strategies and partner with supply planning and field teams to keep pre‑production on schedule.
• Assist in resolving quality issues and ensure compliance with innovation goals and supply‑chain strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in textile or apparel field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum five years of experience in apparel production or product development.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction and various fabrications.
• Proven project‑management abilities and experience working with senior directors.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing responsibilities in a hybrid work environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency (complex spreadsheets, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).

What we offer

• Competitive salary range $92,300‑$110,000 per year.
