About the role

Cargill is seeking a General Production associate to join its protein and salt business in West Columbia, SC. The role involves working on a fast‑paced production line that handles meat products, ensuring efficient weighing, bagging, labeling, and packaging while maintaining safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repetitive tasks such as weighing, bagging, packaging, unpacking, labeling, and repackaging of meat products.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
• Work in wet, warm or cool conditions and navigate slippery surfaces at various heights.
• Stand for long periods, use ladders, and wear required personal protective equipment in designated areas.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Recommended: prior experience in a meat‑processing environment.
• Recommended: experience in a repetitive, fast‑paced industrial setting.
