Procurement Project Manager – Contract (Mobile, AL)

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Procurement Project Manager on a contract basis to support its Strategic Procurement team in Mobile, Alabama. Reporting to the Director of Flying Parts Procurement, you will coordinate procurement and project‑management activities for FAL ramp‑up, the Mobile industrial ecosystem and key transformation programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the procurement workstream within cross‑functional projects, ensuring alignment between regional and global flying‑parts organisations.
• Interface with local and global stakeholders to plan, schedule and execute procurement‑related project tasks.
• Manage multiple projects through their full lifecycle, handling inter‑dependencies and priority conflicts.
• Develop and apply programme and product strategies to meet customer and business objectives.
• Escalate issues requiring senior‑management decisions and drive timely resolutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing procurement‑focused projects, preferably in an industrial or aerospace environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle competing priorities.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management and communication abilities.
