Procurement Operations Expeditor & Logistics Coordinator

About the role

Atlantic Alumina (ATALCO) is seeking a Procurement Operations Expeditor & Logistics Coordinator to ensure timely delivery of critical materials and services across its alumina and bauxite operations. The role bridges suppliers, freight providers, customs brokers, and internal teams to maintain a resilient and efficient supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Manage expediting for purchase orders, contracts, and supplier commitments to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Monitor supplier production schedules, lead times, and milestone commitments, escalating risks as needed.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including customs clearance and import documentation.
• Maintain detailed status reports and delivery performance metrics such as On‑Time Delivery (OTD).
• Facilitate supplier progress meetings, delivery reviews, and corrective action plans.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and supplier relationship management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in expediting, logistics, import/export, and supplier management within industrial, manufacturing, mining, or heavy‑industrial environments.
• Highly organized with strong communication skills to interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to identify and mitigate supply‑chain risks and resolve shipment issues promptly.
