Procurement Manager (Remote)

About the role

Sardine is looking for its first in‑house Procurement Manager to lead purchasing for all teams, from software and IT to marketing, travel and professional services. You will act as the central point of contact for sourcing, negotiating, and managing vendor relationships while ensuring the company gets the right tools at the right price.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end vendor lifecycle: relationship building, contract negotiation, renewal tracking and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Legal and business leaders to align procurement decisions with company goals.
• Drive cost savings by consolidating redundant tools, reclaiming unused licenses and benchmarking market options.
• Develop and own procurement processes, including intake, purchase order workflows, and spend visibility tools.

Required profile

• 5+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing or vendor management experience, preferably in a high‑growth tech environment.
• Strong negotiator who can secure favorable pricing, payment terms, ramp‑up structures and renewal protections.
• Effective communicator who can guide stakeholders through sourcing decisions without slowing execution.
• Comfortable buying across multiple categories – software/SaaS, marketing events, travel, professional services.
• Detail‑oriented with proven ability to track contracts, manage renewals and coordinate security and data‑privacy reviews.
