Procurement Manager

About the role

The Procurement Manager plays a key role in supporting daily logistics, partner engagement, and administrative functions of Share Food Program’s food rescue and distribution initiatives. This position requires a highly organized, proactive individual who can manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with internal teams, nonprofit partners, and community stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage staff operating the Share Food Rescue app and serve as backup during absences.
• Maintain positive relationships with donors, partner sites, volunteers, and community groups.
• Attend community meetings and events as the Share Food Rescue representative.
• Oversee reporting and data management for fleet donations and nonprofit partner information.
• Coordinate cross‑departmental collaboration on procurement projects and bulk donation offers.
• Handle composting logistics, ServSafe certification compliance, and site visits as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, logistics, operations, food distribution, nonprofit programs, or a related field.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with data entry, reporting, and maintaining accurate program records.
• Proficiency with technology, databases, and mobile/web‑based applications.
