Procurement Manager - Construction

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities for large‑scale, complex construction projects across the United States. The role bridges operations, estimating, project management and field teams to secure labor, materials, equipment and subcontracted services while upholding our Safety FIRST culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute project‑specific procurement strategies that meet schedule, budget, quality and client requirements.
• Lead RFP/RFQ processes, conduct commercial evaluations, bid leveling and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules and contract terms.
• Identify, pre‑qualify and manage suppliers, fabricators and subcontractors, supporting diversity and off‑site production initiatives.
• Prepare, review and issue purchase orders, bid packages and procurement agreements in line with company policies and legal standards.
• Collaborate with estimating, project controls, engineering and field teams to align procurement planning with long‑lead items and modular delivery approaches.
• Maintain accurate records in enterprise procurement systems and ensure supplier compliance with safety, insurance and contractual obligations.
• Monitor market trends, pricing and supply‑chain risks to proactively mitigate disruptions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading procurement for large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of prefabrication, modularization and off‑site fabrication strategies.
• Ability to travel nationwide on a long‑term basis and work closely with field leadership.
• Experience managing supplier diversity and long‑term sourcing relationships.
• Familiarity with compliance, safety and insurance requirements in construction procurement.
