Process Technician

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Process Technician to support semiconductor wafer processing in a clean‑room environment. The role involves preparing wafers, operating thin‑film reactors, and using advanced imaging tools to evaluate material performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare wafers for experimentation, including cleaning and reactor loading.
• Operate thin‑film reactors and metrology tools under limited supervision.
• Record process conditions and experimental observations, and generate summary graphs and tables.
• Perform routine equipment shutdown, maintenance, and coordinate repairs with vendors.
• Evaluate wafers and thin films, prepare cross‑section samples, and identify patterns of interest using scanning electron microscopy.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma.
• 2–4 years of experience in semiconductor or related manufacturing.
