Process Operator I – 1st Shift (Starting $25.90)

About the role

The Process Operator I works on the tank farm area, handling rail‑car and tank‑wagon deliveries and shipments while ensuring safety and GMP compliance. This first‑shift position supports continuous production of fats, oils, and dressings for the food industry.

Key responsibilities

• Unload bulk product and raw ingredients from railcars and tank wagons safely and on schedule.
• Position and secure railcars and tank wagons, and steam them when required.
• Record operating data, including product quantities, gauge readings, lot numbers, and seal numbers.
• Monitor and adjust gauges, flow meters, and thermometers to maintain product quality.
• Coordinate product movement to and from storage tanks to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
• Open and close supply valves for production lines upon request from machine operators.
