Process Engineer – Semiconductor & Display Manufacturing

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Process Engineer to design and optimize manufacturing processes for advanced display and semiconductor technologies. The role involves data collection, hardware characterization, troubleshooting, and collaboration with customers, vendors and R&D teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute and analyze complex process engineering experiments across multiple products while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Characterize hardware, develop new measurement methods, and apply emerging technologies to evaluate film properties and system performance.
• Generate technical documentation, presentations, and process engineering specifications for internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead or contribute to process engineering projects, troubleshooting complex issues and implementing innovative solutions.
• Interact with customers to resolve technical concerns and collaborate with vendors and suppliers on new technology integration.

Required profile

• Depth of expertise in Logic, DRAM, NAND and CMOS processes.
• Proven ability to interpret business challenges and recommend best practices.
• Experience leading functional teams or projects with moderate complexity.
• Strong analytical thinking to solve complex engineering problems.
• Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts and negotiate solutions.
