Process Engineer – Semiconductor & Display Manufacturing

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Process Engineer to design and optimize manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor technologies. You will collect and analyze data, perform hardware characterization, and troubleshoot complex engineering issues while collaborating with customers, vendors, and internal R&D teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design experiments, collect data, analyze results, and compile detailed reports.
• Perform hardware characterization on a variety of advanced systems.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and resolve complex process engineering problems.
• Measure film properties, interpret data, and generate technical documentation.
• Engage with customers to address process‑related concerns under limited supervision.
• Identify and partner with vendors, implement new technologies and analytical instrumentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience in semiconductor or display process engineering.
• Demonstrated expertise in solving complex technical problems.
