Process Engineer – New Product Introduction

About the role

Enovis is seeking a Process Engineer focused on New Product Introduction (NPI) to design and develop manufacturing processes for innovative medical‑technology products. You will work within a cross‑functional team, ensuring smooth transfer of new products from development to production while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary process and manufacturing expert on NPI cross‑functional teams.
• Assess process capabilities, prioritize improvements, and implement enhancements on new development projects.
• Design, develop, and validate processes, procedures, tooling, and automation solutions.
• Execute CAPA, project‑management, and quality‑system deliverables.
• Lead manufacturing technical reviews and ensure all documentation (BOMs, routers, FMEAs, etc.) meets quality requirements.
• Write and review validation protocols and reports for new processes.
• Oversee development builds and provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input to engineering.
• Communicate process limits and capabilities to the development team.

Required profile

• Experience as a process engineer in new product introduction or manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to work in cross‑functional teams and lead process development activities.
• Familiarity with CAPA, project management, and quality system documentation.
• Strong analytical skills for process capability assessment and improvement.
