Process Engineer

About the role

As a Process Engineer at Applied Materials, you will design and optimize manufacturing processes for advanced display and semiconductor technologies. You will work with cross‑functional teams, collect and analyze data, and troubleshoot complex engineering issues while collaborating with customers and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute, and analyze complex process engineering experiments across multiple products.
• Perform hardware characterization and apply new measurement techniques to evaluate film properties.
• Generate internal and external technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and presentations.
• Lead functional project teams, partner with vendors, and implement new technologies and analytical instrumentation.
• Train engineers on measurement methods, data interpretation, and troubleshooting procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field.
• 7–10 years of relevant process engineering experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in solving complex technical problems.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and lead project teams.
