Process Engineer

About the role

As a Process Engineer at Applied Materials you will design and optimize manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor technologies. You will work with cross‑functional teams to collect and analyze data, characterize hardware, and resolve complex engineering issues.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimize manufacturing processes for semiconductor and display products.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to characterize hardware and film properties.
• Lead process engineering projects, develop new technologies and analytical instrumentation.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors and internal R&D teams to resolve complex issues and generate technical documentation.

Required profile

• Demonstrated understanding of process engineering concepts and ability to apply root‑cause analysis to solve technical problems.
• Ability to manage projects and guide a team of engineers in a fast‑paced, high‑technology environment.
