Process Engineer IV

About the role

As a Process Engineer IV at Applied Materials, you will design and optimize manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor technologies, collecting and analyzing data, performing hardware characterization, and troubleshooting engineering issues.

Key responsibilities

• Design, collect data, analyze, and compile reports on complex process engineering experiments for multiple products.
• Utilize techniques and new technologies to characterize hardware and perform hardware characterization on numerous complex systems.
• Generate internal and external documentation, presentations, technical reports, and process engineering specifications.
• Develop, plan, and execute process engineering projects within safety guidelines.
• Train engineers in measurement techniques of film properties and guide data interpretation.
• Communicate with customers to resolve complex process engineering issues.
• Design and implement new technology, products, and analytical instrumentation.
• Identify and partner with vendors and suppliers, and lead functional teams or projects as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 7-10 years of related experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in complex problem solving.
